Lenten Links and Bridges by Anthony R. Brach

I've always wondered if there is something unique about the times we live in and it all started to make sense once I learned about apparitions of Jesus and Mary even now in our day. I thought that I'd develop a web page to share my questions and the things that I've found particularly moving.

Have you ever been amazed by the wonders of the earth, life, or the universe?

Have natural disasters and tragic world events ever brought brought tears to your eyes? - "Tribulations"

Have you experienced something special in joyful moments and sorrowful times?

weddings, births, baptisms, anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, awards, sickness, suffering, illnesses, funerals

At all times - the joyful and the sorrowful, God is present. For centuries and even now, our Blessed Mother Mary and our Lord Jesus have and continue to actually appear to persons around the world. We are reminded that God exists and that He loves each and every one of us and wishes all of us, the whole human family, to return to His Love now so as to know, love, and serve Him in this life so as to be happy with Him forever in Heaven.

Where to go from here?

God invites us to meet Him in prayer - pray the Rosary with Mary our Mother, in reading and reflecting on His Word - the Bible, in the Church - meet Him in the Sacraments. Share His Light, Love, and Peace with families, friends, co-workers, colleagues, teachers, students, neighbors, the sick, and needy. God invites us to consecrate ourselves and our families to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

+ St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
